The Hypnos Elite Deluxe mattress offers exceptional comfort and support with the excellent combination of ReActive 6 pocket springs, wool, cotton and solotex. 1000 ReActive 6 pocket spring system. Every spring has 6 active turns - The more active turns in a single continuous pocket spring the greater its ability to sense the exact comfort and support requirement of you and your partner. A single continuous pocket spring also creates a 'bellow-like' effect that drives cool air around the mattress and facilitates greater hygiene. This extra breathability ensures better ventilation, helping to reduce moisture and maintain a comfortable body temperature for a healthy, relaxing and energising night's sleep.
British Wool Layer - Wool Layer - Wool is used in this mattress as a soft and insulating upholstery layer for added comfort. Wool is a natural insulator providing coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. Offering superb comfort, it also has hygroscopic properties encouraging the evaporation of body moisture.
Cotton Layer - Generous cotton layers with responsive properties that complement the spring unit are added to the mattress to help provide a comfortable feel. It is a soft breathable fibre, which helps to keep heat away from your body.
Solotex - Provides a luxurious cushioning fibre that promotes airflow adding to the softness and will help with shape retention.
Triple Edge Protection™ - The mattress gives true edge-to-edge support as it is designed with a non-roll-off reinforced edge support to ensure total comfort and provide extra sleeping area.
Damask Cover - With a soft to the touch damask cover which provides a soft, fresh and hygienic sleeping surface. The cover uses certified sustainable cotton yarn weaved into this damask cover.
Hand -Tufted - The traditional method of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom to ensure all loose fillings are secured to provide the perfect finish.
2 Rows of Hand Side Stitching - Traditional hand-side stitching secures the outer springs to the border at the top and bottom preventing roll-out and is the most highly skilled and labour intensive of all the operations. Side-stitching is carried out by senior upholsterers using traditional long needles and twine to make borders and edges stronger. The effects on the mattress are quite dramatic preventing the springs from distorting and extending the sleeping area right up to the edge of the bed to make the borders and edges stronger.
Flag-stitched Handles - Handles on all sides for ease of positioning.
Chrome Air Vents - Chrome finished vents to allow good air circulation, regulate temperature and keep the mattress fresh.
Easy Care - No need to turn, but regular rotation from head to toe will extend the mattress's life span.

This platform top divan set deal comes with an optional Emily headboard upgrade.

Deep Divan Base

Height: 350mm

A traditional deep divan base is the most popular Hypnos divan base. It allows for drawers to be added for hidden storage and has an option for a hidden bed safe in order to keep documents secure.

Deep divans come as a platform top as standard, but can be upgraded with open coil or pocket spring options to provide extra comfort, with options of firm edge for extra support at the edge of the bed or sprung edge for a softer feel.

Deep divans also provide a selection of different feet, from castors to bun wood. If no storage is selected, a divan skirt can be selected.

Shallow Divan Base

Height: 150mm

A modern 'floating' shallow divan base that has longer 'stand-out' legs, providing a contemporary ‘bedstead’ appearance.

Shallow divans come as a platform top as standard, but can be upgraded with open coil or pocket spring options to provide extra comfort.

Shallow divans come in a range of different leg options - pick a style and height to suit you. If you want an even shorter bed, you can select a foot option for a very low bed.

Super Storage Ottoman Base

Height: 360mm

Super Storage ottoman deep divans provide the ultimate storage solution. Simply lift up the top of the divan which is hinged to the base, allowing you to use the entire divan base for storage. Hydraulic springs make it easy to lift even with the mattress on.

The Super Storage ottoman base comes with chrome castors or black brake castors. The Super Storage divan base is available in Single, Double, King and Super King sizes.

Hideaway Base

Height: 415mm

An open void within the divan base, reinforced, and cleverly hidden behind beautifully upholstered deep valances. This allows you to use the entire inside of the base for storage across the entire width of the bed.

Hideaway bases are available in a variety of different configurations - you can have one side with hideaway and one size with drawers. If you want to take advantage of the extra height of the hideaway base but prefer more traditional drawers, you can opt for a hideaway base with four drawers.

Hideaway bases are available in Single, Double, King and Super King.

EasyStore Base

Height: 415mm

A deeper divan base with extra large drawers. An EasyStore drawer offers double the capacity of two standard drawers with over 20 litres of storage. It is a heavy duty drawer with a capacity of 60kg - three times more than a regular drawer.

The EasyStore Drawer comes with an easy-to-open pull handle and is designed so you can have a lot of storage and still have room for bedside cabinets.

EasyStore Divans are available in King size and Super King.

Regency Base (Exclusive to Regency Collection)

Height: 350mm (Deep) / 150mm (Shallow)

An extremely high quality divan base which comes as pocket sprung as standard, with the choice of sprung edge or firm edge to suit your comfort needs.

This base is only available on the Regency collection such as the Hypnos Clarence and comes as standard with its divan set - ensuring you have the most premium divan base to go with the premium mattress. A divan skirt is available as a free upgrade if no drawers are chosen for a lavish look.

The regency base is available in both deep and shallow sizes.

They're so committed to this that we've also pioneered the development of a disposal and recycling service for your old beds and mattresses, a service Now to Bed offer which ensures 100% of your old mattress is recycled.

In addition, they use the best materials sourced from around the world, including wool, horse hair, cotton and latex in our handcrafted beds. All these natural fibres are 100% biodegradable, recyclable at the end of their life and free of harmful and allergy-related chemicals - they do not use synthetic, chemical-based foams or memory foams in our beds.
