Our own Divan Base with optional Headboard, Drawer units and a Sprung Base available in a selection of colours and sizes, manufactured in the UK.Platform top or Firm Edge Sprung BaseThis Divan bases come in a platform top, but can be upgraded into a Firm Edge Sprung unit. The sprung unit offers a softer more cushioned feel and is often used to soften a firmer mattress. We always highly recommend trying your bed options in-store before purchasing to ensure the right comfort for your body type/s.Divan Base HeightThe Divan Base is manufactured in a 12 inch (total depth including glides/castors). Divan Base Storage OptionsStorage for the Now to Bed Divan Base depends on the size of the base. The Single ( 3FT ) are restricted by dimensions to 2 drawers, all other sizes you can opt for 4 drawers and also continental in style.Finish the look with a Now to Bed HeadboardYou can select a  Headboard with the same fabric to really finish the look.Our headboards come in either a strutted (26 inches high), floor standing (54 inches high). The Headboard colour will be matched to your base of choice, if you wish to have a different colour headboard to the base then please contact us....

Shallow Divan Base from Hypnos is a modern 'floating' shallow divan base that can be specified with longer 'stand-out' legs, providing a contemporary ‘bedstead’ appearance. Shallow divans come as a platform top as standard, but can be upgraded with open coil or pocket spring options to provide extra comfort.  Shallow divans come in a range of different leg options - pick a style and height to suit you. Base Height without Legs: 15cm (150mm)Castor / Feet and Leg Heights: Castor Height: 5cm (50mm)Feet Height: 7cm (70mm)Leg Heights: Between 15cm (150mm) and 17cm (170mm) dependant on Leg Choice. Height: 350mmA traditional deep divan base is the most popular Hypnos divan base. It allows for drawers to be added for hidden storage and has an option for a hidden bed safe in order to keep documents secure. Deep divans come as a platform top as standard, but can be upgraded with open coil or pocket spring options to provide extra comfort, with options of firm edge for extra support at the edge of the bed or sprung edge for a softer feel.Deep divans also provide a selection of different feet, from castors to bun wood. If no storage is selected, a divan skirt can be selected.Please note: Hypnos Super King (180cm ) bases are manufactured in a North to South configuration, smaller sizes are East to West....
