For those who are looking for a little extra support the Hypnos Elite Support will fulfil all your wishes. ReActive 7 pocket springs shape and contour to your body offering unrivalled support while layers of wool, cotton and solotex offer that comfort layer everyone needs. Wake up refreshed and energised each day after spending the night on the Hypnos Elite Support.
- 1200 ReActive 7 pocket spring system. Every spring has 7 active turns - The more active turns in a single continuous pocket spring the greater its ability to sense the exact comfort and support requirement of you and your partner. A single continuous pocket spring also creates a 'bellow-like' effect that drives cool air around the mattress and facilitates greater hygiene. This extra breathability ensures better ventilation, helping to reduce moisture and maintain a comfortable body temperature for a healthy, relaxing and energising night's sleep.
- British Wool Layer - Wool Layer - Wool is used in this mattress as a soft and insulating upholstery layer for added comfort. Wool is a natural insulator providing coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. Offering superb comfort, it also has hygroscopic properties encouraging the evaporation of body moisture.
- Cotton Layer - Generous cotton layers with responsive properties that complement the spring unit are added to the mattress to help provide a comfortable feel. It is a soft breathable fibre, which helps to keep heat away from your body.
- Solotex - Provides a luxurious cushioning fibre that promotes airflow adding to the softness and will help with shape retention.
- Triple Edge Protection™ - The mattress gives true edge-to-edge support as it is designed with a non-roll-off reinforced edge support to ensure total comfort and provide extra sleeping area.
- Damask Cover - With a soft to the touch damask cover which provides a soft, fresh and hygienic sleeping surface. The cover uses certified sustainable cotton yarn weaved into this damask cover.
- Hand -Tufted - The traditional method of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom to ensure all loose fillings are secured to provide the perfect finish.
- 2 Rows of Hand Side Stitching - Traditional hand-side stitching secures the outer springs to the border at the top and bottom preventing roll-out and is the most highly skilled and labour intensive of all the operations. Side-stitching is carried out by senior upholsterers using traditional long needles and twine to make borders and edges stronger. The effects on the mattress are quite dramatic preventing the springs from distorting and extending the sleeping area right up to the edge of the bed to make the borders and edges stronger.
- Flag-stitched Handles - Handles on all sides for ease of positioning.
- Chrome Air Vents - Chrome finished vents to allow good air circulation, regulate temperature and keep the mattress fresh.
- Easy Care - No need to turn, but regular rotation from head to toe will extend the mattress's life span.
Please Note: This is a limited range from Hypnos, as a result, the design of the Mattress outer fabric may be different to those pictured. It will however always be white and off-white design in a damask fabric.

A Commitment to Sustainability and the Environment
Hypnos are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and to using environmentally friendly materials of the highest quality. In fact, they've made great strides in putting sustainability at the centre of everything they do.
From the use of renewable natural resources and carbon offsetting programmes, to supporting worthy charities, local schools and nurturing future talent, sustainability and corporate social responsibility is completely embedded within their business.
Over the last 11 years, they've undergone a comprehensive sustainability journey which led to them becoming the first carbon neutral bedmaker in the world. In fact, they're the only bed manufacturer to have held this prestigious title for nine years, having offset a total of 8748 tonnes of CO2, including 1165 tonnes in 2018/19 alone (via a variety of certified climate projects including planting trees in the UK and the Amazon plus helping to provide clean water in Uganda).
With a clear focus on low-carbon sustainable design, in support of their low energy handmaking processes, all their mattresses and beds are recyclable ensuring they never need to go to landfill. They're so committed to this that we've also pioneered the development of a disposal and recycling service for your old beds and mattresses, a service Now to Bed offer which ensures 100% of your old mattress is recycled.
In addition, they use the best materials sourced from around the world, including wool, horse hair, cotton and latex in our handcrafted beds. All these natural fibres are 100% biodegradable, recyclable at the end of their life and free of harmful and allergy-related chemicals - they do not use synthetic, chemical-based foams or memory foams in our beds.
What's more, the timber within their divan bases is from managed forests and sustainable sources that comply with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC® licence code FSC-C110890) and The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC™ licence code PEFC/16-37-1392). They've also gone the extra mile having passed the Sedex™ ethical trading audit, and with their sites in the UK achieving FSC® and PEFC™ multi-site Chain of Custody certification, guaranteeing full traceability.
Indeed, their environmental and responsible ethos stretches far beyond sustainable design, with a 'lean and green' operational culture which focuses on the minimisation of carbon emissions, energy and waste (they have eliminated factory waste to landfill, ensuring any waste goes to a recycling source). They are also the first bed maker to have successfully achieved compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. This internationally-recognised voluntary certification is further proof of their sustainability leadership in the bed manufacturing industry.

They only use the best materials sourced from all around the world.
They are also compliant with ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) which is a structured programme of energy audits designed to lower carbon emissions by identifying energy efficiency and reduction measures. In line with this commitment, they operate our Castle Donington site on a biomass heating system as well as purchasing 100% renewable electricity for the Princes Risborough site.
