Please note that our online shop is still open for business and we now offer a 50% deposit scheme so that customers can secure our vast in-stock items ready for Free First Class Delivery as soon as the Government re-addresses the population on April 14th. We can currently take your deposit over the phone 01745 852877 and also online during the checkout process. We can store your order in our brand new storage facility, safe in the knowledge that once travel bans are lifted we will deliver your item/s to you as a matter of priority. There are still FAST TRACK services direct to your door from Serene and Julian Bowen.
Please also note, as a responsible business we do not offer a Sleep Trial during these uncertain times, all our items are BRAND NEW, Double Bagged and made in the UK.

As a responsible business we have followed the government advice and closed our high street stores. This action is in the interest of our NTB (Now to Bed) team and our customers. Also following the advice we have temporarily put on hold our first class free Delivery service. We hope to restart this as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so.
Our web site www.nowtobed.co.uk is open for business and orders can be placed for one of our top quality mattresses or beds from our huge selection. Indeed there are some great clearance lines available as we have large stocks in our new improved warehouse to clear.
We are hoping as soon as the government updates us all on the 14th April we will re commence our first class free delivery service.

We wanted to reassure you that as a responsible company, we take all matters relating to the Coronavirus seriously and as such, we wanted to update you on the measures and precautions we are taking to mitigate any risks associated with the virus.
- All delivery crews hand sanitize before and after each delivery.
- All delivery crews wear disposable gloves and overshoes.
- All goods are factory packaged, sealed and unopened until arrival with you.
- All goods double bagged, removing the outer bag outside your property.
- We can also deliver to your door, garage or safe place if you have a preference.
Delivery Service in detail
We have a number of practices in place and as of today, we will be introducing further measures to ensure the delivery of items to your customers is done so with the relevant precautions in place.
As a standard, our crews have been told not to shake hands limit personal contact with customers. They have all been allocated tubs of hand sanitizers and disposable gloves and overshoes, given instruction on when and where to use them.
We have also received requests from some customers about limiting face-to-face contact if they are in the vulnerable age group, with some expressing they do not want our crew to deliver to their room-of-choice, or into their homes. We can offer a customer doorstep delivery, left in the hallway or where you'd like to receive your goods; please instruct drivers at the point of delivery, we are more than happy to help.
At the moment we are managing these on a case-by-case basis and hope the measures above will reassure our customers. Customers also have the option to email us the POD (Proof of Delivery) rather than the usual process of signing paperwork/portable handheld devices.
All sales staff have been asked to limit contact as much as possible during the sales process and not to shake hands. All staff and customers will have the use of hand sanitizers. When paying by cash, customers will be asked to place the money once counted into an envelope which will then be sealed by the salesperson.
If the Customer is paying by card then they must place the card into the CC (Credit Card) machine themselves and when requested to do so remove the card themselves. Each time the CC machine is used by a customer it will be cleansed in readiness for the next customer.
All our customers will be pleased to note that we do not import any Mattresses or Divans from overseas, so you can with buy with confidence that we only sell quality beds and mattresses from NBF (National Bed Federation) approved suppliers.
All our ranges are made in the UK so customers can purchase with confidence.
We are just finalising our long-overdue move, to much larger warehousing which will allow us to work much closer with our suppliers carrying more stock for express deliveries across all brands, this will enable us to offer a larger selection of mattresses and divans on a quicker two to three-day delivery service.
Going forward we will be continuing to follow government advice and should any changes be required we will keep you updated.
