We are available online and over the phone, our stores remain closed during the National lockdown. We have enabled an online video call system should you want to talk 'face to face' with your Bed Specialist. We also have our online chat, and Telephone (01745 852877) should you require immediate assistance.

Delivery times are slowly improving with some of our suppliers such as Relyon quoting 5-6 weeks, Somnus and Harrison Spinks 6-8 weeks

We appreciate our customers' patience during these unprecedented times and whilst we talk daily to our suppliers, there have been continued supply chains delays due to Covid-19. This has not only affected the Bed Industry but most industries across the world, which we are sure most people will have experienced by now.

With the latest Government announcements our stores are closed, however we are online and operational to accept and process your order as normal.

Our warehouses remain open, accepting deliveries from our suppliers on a daily basis.
Our delivery team and vans are also fully operational, ready to deliver your order in the safest possible way to ensure the safety of our customers and delivery team.
Our online chat service is active Monday to Saturday ready to answer any of your queries. Due to some of the team working remotely, there may be a slight delay in responding to emails, but we are working tirelessly, as every customer is extremely important to us, as is your satisfaction. Some suppliers are still experiencing spring supply issues and delivery times are naturally extended, this situation is projected to improve through January and early February.

We continue to experience strong demand through these turbulent times with a high awareness of the quality brands that we offer.

However, many bed companies have been affected by the global shortages of the wire and fabric needed to make pocket springs, whilst we continue to work with our suppliers receiving weekly, even daily updates; these shortages are beyond our control.

Nevertheless, during lockdown everyone is working hard behind the scenes to continue the manufacture of mattresses and beds, with workshops and warehouses 'open for business'

As a responsible retailer we continue to manage customer expectations, making them aware of the global issues impacting pocket spring manufacturing and the longer times to make and deliver products.

COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
As instructed by the Welsh Government our stores will temporarily close from Saturday 24th October and reopen on Monday November 9th.

Our Warehouse and Delivery schedules can still operate.
If there are any orders you require urgently please let us know.

All the dates currently listed are based on information given to us by suppliers. However, these dates have the potential to change due to  the unprecedented circumstances and suppliers trying to source the amount of raw materials that they need. We will keep you updated if anything changes based on your order. Some suppliers are trying to stick to their current work load and may be delayed in the event of not getting enough material or if a local lockdown impacts them, however others have adjusted to a lower amount of raw materials and orders could be brought forward if they are able to source a higher amount.

Due to the worldwide shortage of some core materials (steel for springs and other materials set aside for PPE) coupled with reduced workforce's across the country, a lot of manufacturers have naturally had to extend their production times. The knock-on effect is that everyone in the Bed Industry has had to increase their delivery schedules to match this delay.

Thankfully, as a major supplier, we have regular large stock deliveries to our warehouse. Our website is being constantly updated to reflect this, with a proposed due in date (which we receive directly from the manufacturer) and in-stock items are physically in our warehouse ready for delivery.

We are continuing to offer an appointment system for our stores, where we abide by all the government guidelines for your safety and ours. This effort is also strictly maintained by our delivery drivers who continue to deliver to a room of your choosing (or doorstep if you prefer) and we also offer a recycling option of your old bed should you require this.

Many of our suppliers are now trading and producing the lovely Divans and Mattresses that many of you are enjoying Night after night. However not all factories are back at full strength and would ask all our customers old and new to bear with us through these unprecedented times as Delivery times will sometimes extend beyond the time scales mention on each model, this can vary from one supplier to another.
We are working incredibly hard to ensure all orders are delivered within the time scales set out on our Web site. Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.

The latest Government guide lines relating to "back to work" confirmed that Factories and some other industries could re open as soon as they could make it safe to do so for their employees. We are already getting feedback from some of our suppliers that our supply chain is going to commence towards the end of May and early June. We will keep all our customers updated as soon as we have dates available over the next couple of weeks.

Please be aware the present circumstances will add approximately two to three weeks to our lead times.
Our Stores will remain closed until such time the Government issues an update as to when our Retail sector can reopen and we will do so only when it is safe for our customers and Team members.

Store Opening Times
Our stores remain closed to coincide with the Governments guidelines and to protect the health and safety of our Staff members and customers.

Web Site
Our web site has remained "Open for Business" and deliveries are continuing for all stock items. Depending on the carrier and your location we are completing deliveries to doorstep or garage only. However if you require delivery to room of choice then this can be arranged but may take a few days longer to complete. Please advise when you place your orders online if a Room of choice delivery is required.  Please note that any delay in delivery for items that are pre-order is because factories are currently on lock-down.  These restrictions are soon to be lifted as everyone awaits the next government address. Orders are still being booked with factories and will be first inline for delivery. In-stock items remain unaffected and are delivered as usual.

Re-Cycling
We are offering a recycling service and again this may add a few days to the delivery time and would ask you to bear with us during these times.
Please also note, as a responsible business we do not offer a Sleep Trial during these uncertain times, all our items are BRAND NEW, Double Bagged and made in the UK. Deliveries are back!
We would like to update you all that we are now offering home delivery once again for our IN-STOCK and CLEARANCE products.

All deliveries are currently just to your door-step / garage. Our delivery drivers hand sanitise, wear gloves for each delivery and are extremely vigilant for not just their own health and safety but our customers too. Please let us know prior to delivery if anyone in your household has any of the Covid 19 symptoms.

During this time we cannot offer our usual Free Recycling for obvious reasons but we do have other Free Gifts available, from Quality Pillows, mattress protectors, mattress toppers and more. Please view our Free Gifts.

We are also still able to take orders for every item in our store. We are still placing orders with our suppliers who will prioritise your order based upon your order date, in a first come first served fashion.

We also carry large stock quantities ready to be delivered to your door and have a large stock order ready to be delivered to us. We will of course update this page as soon as we have a date of our suppliers re-opening. we are all working very hard to protect the health of all our team and every customer, if you wish to purchase any stock or clearance item and do not wish to take delivery now we can arrange storage at no extra cost.

Please note that our online shop is still open for business and we now offer a 50% deposit scheme so that customers can secure our vast in-stock items ready for Free First Class Delivery as soon as the Government re-addresses the population on April 14th. We can currently take your deposit over the phone 01745 852877 and also online during the checkout process.  We can store your order in our brand new storage facility, safe in the knowledge that once travel bans are lifted we will deliver your item/s to you as a matter of priority. There are still FAST TRACK services direct to your door from Serene and Julian Bowen.

As a responsible business we have followed the government advice and closed our high street stores. This action is in the interest of our NTB (Now to Bed) team and our customers. Also following the advice we have temporarily put on hold our first class free Delivery service. We hope to restart this as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so.

Our approach...

We wanted to reassure you that as a responsible company, we take all matters relating to the Coronavirus seriously and as such, we wanted to update you on the measures and precautions we are taking to mitigate any risks associated with the virus.
  • All delivery crews hand sanitize before and after each delivery.
  • All delivery crews wear disposable gloves and overshoes.
  • All goods are factory packaged, sealed and unopened until arrival with you.
  • All goods double bagged, removing the outer bag outside your property.
  • We can also deliver to your door, garage or safe place if you have a preference. 


Delivery Service in detail

We have a number of practices in place and as of today, we will be introducing further measures to ensure the delivery of items to your customers is done so with the relevant precautions in place.

As a standard, our crews have been told not to shake hands limit personal contact with customers. They have all been allocated tubs of hand sanitizers and disposable gloves and overshoes, given instruction on when and where to use them.

We have also received requests from some customers about limiting face-to-face contact if they are in the vulnerable age group, with some expressing they do not want our crew to deliver to their room-of-choice, or into their homes. We can offer a customer doorstep delivery, left in the hallway or where you'd like to receive your goods; please instruct drivers at the point of delivery, we are more than happy to help.

At the moment we are managing these on a case-by-case basis and hope the measures above will reassure our customers. Customers also have the option to email us the POD (Proof of Delivery) rather than the usual process of signing paperwork/portable handheld devices.


In-Store Service

All sales staff have been asked to limit contact as much as possible during the sales process and not to shake hands. All staff and customers will have the use of hand sanitizers. When paying by cash, customers will be asked to place the money once counted into an envelope which will then be sealed by the salesperson.

If the Customer is paying by card then they must place the card into the CC (Credit Card) machine themselves and when requested to do so remove the card themselves. Each time the CC machine is used by a customer it will be cleansed in readiness for the next customer.

All our customers will be pleased to note that we do not import any Mattresses or Divans from overseas, so you can with buy with confidence that we only sell quality beds and mattresses from NBF (National Bed Federation) approved suppliers.

All our ranges are made in the UK so customers can purchase with confidence.

We are just finalising our long-overdue move, to much larger warehousing which will allow us to work much closer with our suppliers carrying more stock for express deliveries across all brands, this will enable us to offer a larger selection of mattresses and divans on a quicker two to three-day delivery service.

Going forward we will be continuing to follow government advice and should any changes be required we will keep you updated.
