Sealy are world-renowned manufacturers of orthopaedic beds; working in
tandem with researchers and the National Bed Federation they are a trustworthy
and acclaimed brand.
The Ruby Support incorporates Sealy's Zero Deflection Spring
System, which prevents buckling and keeps the surface of the
mattress consistently firm.
The materials used in the construction of the mattress serve a
homeostatic function as well, in that they maintain the optimal environment for
sleep, removing excess moisture and heat for a cool, dry and comfortable
night’s rest.
The mattress contains Tencel® fibres, which originate from purely
botanical sources and are “more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and
cooler than linen”.
The Ruby Support is also treated with Purotex, a completely organic
substance designed to propagate the growth of useful bacteria, which
discourages mould and is endorsed by Allergy UK for its ability to
eliminate household dust mites.
